A well designed lighting fixture should come with several different lengths of rods, and threaded pipe. The rods connect together so the fixture can hang at the appropriate height. When selecting a fixture that has rods, ensure there is enough rod length and wire included to hang at the height you require. Depending on the fixture you may need to order additional rods from the manufacture.
